MG&E has brought in about 100 workers from other utility providers and contractors in order to help with restoration efforts. The outages are located throughout the greater Madison area, which company officials said makes the work challenging.

The provider said that severe weather could impact restoration efforts later Wednesday, and could result in more outages.
