MG, Sun Prairie win Dane County Invitational
Season opener for high school girls tennis

MADISON — Monona Grove and Sun Prairie shared the team championship at the Dane County Invitational – the season opener for WIAA girls tennis at Quann Park in Madison Saturday.
Sun Prairie’s Dao Sysouvanh won the #1 singles title for the second year in a row, defeating MG’s Amanda Newman in the final, 6-0, 6-2.
McFarland’s #1 doubles team of Meonie Aust and Raina Richardson took the title over Stoughton’s Peyton Kahl and Kendra Halverson.
