Meeting held to discuss potential new gun bill
MADISON, Wis. — Students, lawmakers and community members held a meeting Wednesday to discuss a proposed bill to allow carrying weapons on college campuses without a concealed carry permit.
The bill would allow Wisconsin citizens to carry a gun without a permit or training. Supporters of the bill say it would change little from current gun legislation.
If the measure passes, Wisconsin would become only the 13th state in the country to have such a law on the books.
