Medical Examiner identifies victims of Madison’s two weekend homicides

MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified both of the victims of Madison’s weekend homicides on Wednesday afternoon.
Keairra C. Fields, 31, of Madison, was shot early Sunday morning on Onsgard Road.
Officials said Fields died on Monday from “homicidal firearm related trauma.”
Madison police said a person has been taken into custody in connection to Fields’ death.
The Medical Examiner said Keshaun Q. Davis-Williams, 22, of Dodgeville, was shot early Monday morning in the 4500 block of Verona Road.
Madison police said Davis-Williams was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police have not released any information about possible suspects or a motive.
Officials said he also died of “homicidal firearm related trauma.”
Both deaths remains under investigation by both Madison police and the Medical Examiner’s Office.
