Mary Louise Bennett

Mary L. Bennett, age 77 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Craig Wolfgram officiating.

Burial will be at the Lyndon Station Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon.

Mary was born August 24, 1934 in Lake Delton, Wisconsin the daughter of George and Marjorie (Sigafus) Waltman.

She grew up near Lyndon Station and graduated from Mauston High School in 1952. On June 14, 1952 she married Robert Bennett in Wisconsin Dells. She worked at a Porcelain Factory in Sun Prairie, Hillsboro Footwear and Swiss Colony in Mauston.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia Bennett (Dale Feldmann) of Wonewoc, WI Susan Bennett of Monona, WI and Lori Severson of Lyndon Station; sisters, Anna (Lawrence) Dickman of Wisconsin Dells and Mabel (Joseph) Piper of Yuba City, CA; brothers, Daniel (Sharon) Waltman of Arkansas and John (Beryl) Waltman of Port Edwards, WI; grandchildren, Christopher (Mindy) Flint, Heather (Justin) Zunker, Jacob Ormson and Courtney Severson and great grandchildren, Natalie, Danica and Landry Flint and Jackson Zunker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and a sister, Linda.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church or the American Lung Association.
