Mary E. Skram

SUN PRAIRIE-Mary E. (Lundy) Skram, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on December 12, 1957, in Lincoln Neb., to William and Dorothy Ault. Mary was a 1975 graduate of East High School in Lincoln, Neb. Mary was employed at General Casualty Insurance Co. in Lincoln. Her job took her to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, where she met the love of her life, Steve, in 2001. They were married in 2005. During their short time together, they were inseparable. They were avid Packer and Badger fans, adored the children and grandchildren and relished in the beauty of their cabin on the Mississippi River in Lynxville. Her most recent employment was with O’Connell Pharmacy in Sun Prairie.

Mary loved life, loved nature, loved the river and fed every wild bird in Wisconsin. Her courage and positive attitude during her battle with illness is admirable.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Shelly Lundy, and Craig and Tara Lundy of Lincoln Neb.; sister, Marcia Malzer; and special friend, Roger Michaelis, of Lincoln, Neb.; brothers and sisters-in law, Don and Janet Ault, of Milo, Iowa, Doug and Deb Ault, of Brainard, Neb; grandchildren, Kaylyn, Cole and Reed of Lincoln, Neb.; her extended family, stepdaughter, Kim Skram, stepson, Brian Skram; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Joanne Skram and family; sister-in-law, Staci Skram; and Steve and Nancy Krause; and special friends and co-workers at O’Connell Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dewey Ault.

A visitation will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. A funeral service and burial will be held at LINCOLN MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Neb.,at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012.
