Mary A. Herbold
Mary A. Herbold age 74, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 21, 1938 in Antigo, WI to Joseph and Viola (Tyson) Tatro.
She was joined in marriage to James Arthur Herbold, son of Arthur and Katherine (Opitz) Herbold of Buffalo, NY, on June 2, 1962 in Antigo. Mary was employed by Columbia County, Grosse Pointe Public Schools and Liberty Loan of Detroit, MI. She retired from Bank One in Beaver Dam, WI. Mary loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Her hobbies include, but were no means limited to, painting, gardening, cooking, canning, sewing, knitting and baking the best Dutchy apple pie known to man.
She is lovingly survived by her two sons, Arthur (Anne) of Cottage Grove and William (special friend, Mary Smith) of Columbus; three sisters, Lucille (Richard) Utnehmer, Sue (Laddie) Schmutzer, Kathy (Tony) Tillman; four brothers, Eugene (Carol) Tatro, James (Midge) Tatro, William (Diane) Tatro, Michael (Patricia) Tatro; four step-grandchildren, Jess, Tim, Scott and Abby Maier; one step-great grandson, Thomas Maier; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James in 2005, parents, a brother, Joseph in infancy, other relatives.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Antigo, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hillside Hospice in Beaver Dam.
