Marijuana grow with $500,000 potential removed in Walworth County

WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. — The Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit eradicated an outdoor marijuana grow Monday.
The unit removed 200 plants from the grow plot, an amount that, with proper cultivation and harvesting, could have had a potential street value of $500,000.
The grow was discovered in August during an aerial surveillance mission in the northern townships of the county. The drug unit is continuing to pursue this investigation in an attempt to find who was responsible for the illegal operation.
