Man zapped during home invasion, police say

An 18-year-old woman used a Taser-type device on one of four men who broken into a west side home Monday afternoon, according to a release from Madison police.

Police said they were called to the 1100 block of Morraine View Drive at 1:25 p.m. after four men forced their way into an apartment looking for someone.

The men left after a woman in the apartment used the electronic device on the man who appeared to be the group’s leader.
