Police said Williams had warrants out for his arrest. He was arrested Friday afternoon off of Lakeside Street on Madison’s south side.

He faces charges stemming from the outstanding warrants, and police said he also faces new charges after controlled substances were allegedly found during his arrest. The case that prompted the AMBER Alert remains open.
