Man wanted in DeForest heroin overdose death

DeForest police and the U.S. Marshall Service are looking for a man who’s wanted in connection with a heroin overdose death.

Matthew A. Reineke, 32, is wanted for first-degree reckless homicide related to a death that occurred in DeForest on Feb. 23, 2013.

Police said Reineke is known to frequent the DeForest, Madison and Watertown areas. Reineke was believed to be living most recently in the 200 block of Cole Street in Watertown. Police believe he is still in the Watertown area and might be working construction jobs for cash.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reineke is asked to call DeForest police, Watertown police or 911.
