Man suspected of putting hands down woman’s pants
A man put his hands down the pants of a woman outside her downtown office Friday afternoon, according to a release from Madison police.
The 53-year-old woman told police the stranger approached her as she was outside at West Washington Avenue and North Henry Street when the assault occurred, and she pulled away and the man ran off after the assault.
Police said the woman and a witness provided a good description of the man.
Jeremy P. Rowan, 51, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree sexual assault.
