Man stabbed in back unwilling to talk with police

A man who was treated for a stab wound to the back was not willing to talk to police about how he got injured, according to a release from Madison police.

Officers were called to Meriter Hospital at 1:54 a.m. Thursday on a report of a man with a wound to his back.

Police said the injury to the 22-year-old man appeared to be caused by something with a sharp edge. Multiple stitches were needed.
