Man saves dog after leash stuck in elevator doors
A Houston man said he was at the right place at the right time after his neighbor’s dog’s leash was caught in an elevator door.
The incident was recorded on a security camera at their apartment building.
The video shows a woman walking into the elevator with her dog on a leash, but the door closes before the dog gets in. The elevator goes up, pulling the leash with it.
Johnny Mathis, who had just gotten off the elevator, jumps in and works quickly to remove the leash from the dog just in time.
Mathis said the woman was overjoyed when she found out her dog wasn’t hurt.
