Man robbed Milton, Janesville stores at gunpoint within 4-hour window, police say

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Milton and Janesville police are looking for a man who is believed to have robbed two gas stations in about four hours on Wednesday night.
Milton police said a man entered Casey’s General Store at 9:21 p.m. with a handgun. He took an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes and left the store on foot. The employees then called 911.
No one was hurt and the suspect wasn’t found.
Janesville police said a man entered the Stop-N-Go store on East Milwaukee Street at 11:57 p.m. and demanded money. He displayed a handgun and was given an unknown amount of money. The robber then ran away.
Janesville and Milton police said the robber is believed to have been the same man in both incidents.
The stores are about 6 miles apart.
The Stop-N-Go robber is described as white, 30 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall wearing blue jeans, a gray T-shirt and black shoes.
The Casey’s robber is described as white, in his mid-to-late 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He had short, blond hair and was wearing blue jeans, a gray T-shirt and he used a blue T-shirt to conceal his head and face.
