Man reports impaired driver snoring inside SUV on lawn, police say

MADISON, Wis. — A man found snoring in a running vehicle on a west Madison yard Monday morning is facing a charge, police said.
The Madison Police Department said a Frisch Road homeowner got up to use the bathroom at about 2:30 a.m. and spotted an SUV in the middle of his front lawn. It was running.
A driver was behind the wheel, but asleep and snoring loudly, according to the report. Officers responded, and before waking the man, they put the SUV in park and removed keys from the ignition.
When police woke him, the driver, 39-year-old Angel P. Arguelles-Lopez, of Madison, told them he was on his way home. He was arrested on suspicion of fourth-offense drunken driving.
