Man questioned about incident outside strip club
Madison man remains hospitalized

TOWN OF BRISTOL, Wis. — A man who deputies believe was involved in an incident outside a strip club was taken into custody Wednesday night.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said the man was found at a residence in Sun Prairie and he is being held on a probation warrant. Deputies have not yet determined what charges he might face.
The man was sought after the incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the Club Bristol bar in the town of Bristol, near Sun Prairie. A 27-year-old Madison man was flown to a hospital after a crash on County Road V related to the incident. He is at UW Hospital in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Dane County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Elise Schaffer said alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
Dane County Sheriff’s Lt. Chuck Immel said Highway V was closed for about three hours from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., but Highway 51 was not affected by the crash.
The club’s manager said they reviewed camera footage and didn’t see anything that would have led them to believe something was going to happen.
Anyone who knows anything about the incident is asked to call the Dane County tip line at 608-284-6900 or call dispatch at the Sheriff’s Department.
