Man pointed gun during dispute, police say

A Madison man is facing numerous charges after pointing a gun at another man and punching him in the face, according to a release from Madison police.

Officers were called to the 2100 block of Leland Drive at 5:47 p.m. Friday after witnesses reported a dispute. Witnesses also reported that children were present during the incident.

Police arrested Stacey Haynes Sr., 39, on suspicion of second-degree reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct while armed, battery and felon in possession of a firearm.

Officers said witnesses pointed out Haynes as he drove through the neighborhood after police arrived.
