Man picked up by troopers for driving golf cart on interstate
An 83-year-old man was stopped by Arizona state troopers Wednesday after a traffic camera caught him driving a golf cart on the interstate, according to KNXV.
Representatives from the Arizona Department of Public Safety say the footage shows the man riding the golf cart with a car following closely behind with its lights flashing, presumably to make sure the man was safe.
Troopers say the man driving the cart showed no signs of impairment.
The man was eventually picked up by his wife. Police haven’t announced any citations.
