Man missing from university medical facility found safe

A man missing from a university medical facility was found late Saturday night, campus police said.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department was looking for 55-year-old James M. Klint, who walked away from the Wisconsin Psychiatric Institute and Clinic at University Research park on Madison’s west side Friday.

UWPD said Klint was found safe and in good health Saturday.

Officials said Klint is severely cognitively disabled, diabetic and asthmatic and he doesn’t have his medications.

UWPD officials said they wanted to thank the public for the help in finding Klint.
