PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — A Cassville man has died after a rollover crash in Grant County.

Dallas Esser, 22, was driving a truck west on County Road B, west of Stanton Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to a release by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

His truck ended up in a ditch on the south side of the road, hit a culvert and then rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Esser was transported to a nearby hospital before being airlifted to one in Madison.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital in Madison, according to the release.

Esser was alone in the vehicle.

This is the eighth person killed in a crash in Grant County for 2019, according to the release.
