Man killed in 3-car crash identified

One person is dead after a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 and 94 in Juneau County Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Wisconsin State Patrol Sgt. Dan Steele said troopers responded to a report of an accident at about 12:40 p.m. on westbound I-90/94 near exit 78.
Investigators said a 2011 Honda Accord was being driven west when the driver slowed down because of a backup in a construction zone.
A 2015 Chevrolet Equinox hit the Accord from behind, which caused the Accord to hit a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, according to a release.
Two occupants in the Equinox and one passenger from the Accord were transported to the hospital, officials said. The driver of the Accord, Larry Dean Kooi, 69, of Ringgold, Georgia, died.
According to the release, it is not known whether the driver of the Accord was wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Equinox, Alexander F. Johsnon, 35, of Downers Grove, Illinois, was cited for inattentive driving.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, officials said.
