Man injured in fall from ladder

A 35-year-old Madison man was injured when he fell from a ladder while trying to install a second floor window, according to a release from Madison police.

Police said the man was working on a rehabilitation project at an apartment in the 5700 block of Balsam Road Wednesday afternoon when he fell. A witness said the man fell backwards and landed on the ground face first.

The man suffered significant head injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
