Man in black ski mask robs gas station at gunpoint
A man robbed a gas station near DeForest at gunpoint Friday night, the sheriff’s office said.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Tiger Mart at 7205 County Road I in the town of Vienna at 7:35 p.m.
An employee told dispatchers a person who was more than 6 feet tall and believed to be male displayed a silver handgun and demanded money. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the robber fled through a back door.
A K-9 searched the area and recovered some evidence, but the robber was not located, the sheriff’s office said.
The robber was wearing black jeans, a black canvas jacket, a black ski mask and black gloves, according to the report.
