Man held on attempted homicide charges after stabbing
The victim is in stable condition, police said

MADISON, Wis. — The Town of Madison Police Department is investigating an attempted homicide after a stabbing Wednesday night.
Police said they responded to a disturbance call in the 2600 block of Pheasant Ridge Trail at 11:41 p.m.
Officers said they found a woman, 23, with several stab wounds and lacerations as the result of a knife attack. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Police are not releasing the victim’s name at this time.
Police said the suspect, Tyras Tolden, 20, ran from the house. Officers found him close to the home and arrested him.
The suspect and victim have previously been in a domestic relationship, police said. There is no threat to the community.
Tolden was booked into the Dane County Jail Wednesday night on tentative charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Additional charges may be requested, police said.
