Man found intoxicated charged with probation violation, possession

A Reedsburg man was arrested after an officer saw him running out of an alley and onto a porch at Friday morning.

A Reedsburg police officer was patrolling the downtown area at 2 a.m. when he spotted a man running out of an alley and up onto a porch in the 100 block of Third Street. According to the report, the man saw the officer and attempted to go to the rear of the house.

Police said 23-year-old Javier M. Boling, who lives at the address, was intoxicated and on probation. Boling was taken into custody on an apprehension request from his probation agent. During the arrest, officers said they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him.

Boling was taken to the Sauk County jail, where he was held on charges of probation apprehension, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping.
