Man found dead in vehicle at Necedah Refuge
NECEDAH, Wis. — Juneau County authorities are investigating after a man was found dead Friday inside a car at the Necedah Refuge.
Officials said they received a call around 10 a.m. Friday reporting a man inside a vehicle at the refuge appeared dead. When law enforcement responded, they found one man dead in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
An initial investigation revealed the man was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Foul play is not suspected in the man’s death. Law enforcement officials said there is no danger to the community.
The incident is still under investigation by the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office and the Juneau County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Wisconsin State Patrol helped with the initial response.
