A man who reportedly went to Brat Fest dressed as the children’s book character “Waldo” may have violated bail by having contact with children.

In April, a judge ordered 19-year-old Alexander Cook not to have any contact with kids after he was charged with sexual assault for inappropriately touching an 8-year-old at the Madison Public Library.

The Wisconsin State Journal reported a Dane County deputy who knew of Cook’s previous arrest saw him and investigated his bail stipulations.

Cook was charged with felony bail jumping Monday.

Cook is due back in court next week for the sexual assault charge.
