Man attacked in McDonald’s bathroom, police say

A 39-year-old man was attacked as a teenager tried to rob him in a McDonald’s bathroom Sunday afternoon, according to a release from Madison police.

Officers were called to the McDonald’s at 2402 S. Park St. at 5:50 p.m. after the 39-year-old victim left and summoned help.

The victim told police the would-be robber was with another teen who was acting as a lookout while the other teen punched him in the face three times while trying to get his money.

Police arrested Dalvon J. Tellis, 19, of Madison, on suspicion of attempted strong armed robbery, battery and obstruction. A 17-year-old was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
