Man arrested in connection to burglaries

A LaValle man is suspected in two Sauk County burglary cases, according to a release from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.

Eddie W. Hatfield, 27, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of two counts of burglary for burglaries that occurred in LaValle on April 17 and April 19.

Deputies said power tools and yard care equipment were stolen during the burglaries and turned up at pawn shops.

Investigators said other suspects might have been involved in the burglaries and other property might be recovered.
