Man accused of killing a person in Deerfield charged with felony murder
Cody Bauer, 27, was charged with felony murder today for a killing that took place in Deerfield.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office said it found 28-year-old Nathan Priewe dead in a home in the 100 block of Washburn Avenue. The medical examiner said Priewe died from homicidal blunt force injuries.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said Priewe had been involved in a fight with another man at Kurt’s Never Inn on North Main Street, which made Bauer a person of interest to police.
Bauer has since been charged with felony murder and has a bond set at $100,000.
