Mallards win in Green Bay, 7-6
Ternerowicz' homer paces Madison

GREEN BAY — Ryan Tenerowicz homered and scored three runs as the Madison Mallards defeated the Green Bay Bullfrogs in Green Bay, 7-6 Tuesday night.
The Mallards built a 5-0 lead in the first two innings before the Bullfrogs rallied with a run in the fourth and four more in the fifth.
But with the score tied 5-5 in the seventh, the Mallards scored twice on a Drew Carlile RBI double and Matt Thaiss’ run scoring single.
Matt Portland (1-0) pitched two innings allowing a run on one hit with two strikeouts to get the win.
Tim Black finished the final inning and two-thirds for his 14th save of the season.
The Mallards are now 9-5 in the second half of the Northwoods League season. Green Bay is 6-7.
