The City of Madison and Community Action Coalition announced to extension of this year’s MadMarket Double Dollars program through Dec. 16.

The program was initially planned to stop at the end of the outdoor market season.

FoodShare users can continue to participate in the Double Dollars program at the Northside and Eastside Farmer’s Markets at their indoor locations.

The indoor Northside Farmer’s Market is at 2911 N. Sherman Ave. The indoor location for the Eastside Farmer’s Market is in the Wil-Mar Center, 953 Jenifer St.

SNAP users are able to receive their double dollars by simply attending either Farmer’s Market location with their FoodShare card. Participants will receive a dollar for dollar match of up to $25 for each dollar spent at the market.

MadMarket Double Dollars issued in 2014 can only be used at participating markets and must be redeemed by the Dec. 16 deadline.
