Madison Police searching for person who shot 22-year-old on the east side
MADISON, Wis. — Madison Police are investigating Sunday morning after a 22-year-old man was shot on the east side overnight.
Officers say they responded to the 1100 block of Mendota Street around 1 a.m. They didn’t find any shell casings at that scene.
Officers also responded to Meriter Park Hospital.
The man who was shot is still in the hospital as of Sunday morning.
