Police: Man spits into, jumps on hood, roof of car, scares 2 women inside

Madison police are looking for a suspect who stole a Madison man’s prized baseball hats and Gucci belt during an armed robbery Saturday night, according to a report.

According to police, the victim, 36, was in a parking lot in the 2300 block of Carling Drive. about 8:30 p.m. when a man approached his car and said he liked the baseball caps that were on display in the back rear window of the vehicle.

Police said the suspect asked to see the hats, and when the victim reached to take them out of the car, the suspect pointed a gun at his chest. The robber fled with the caps, along with a Gucci belt that had also been in the back seat.

Police said the suspect is a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds, with shoulder-length dreadlocks and some silver or gold teeth. He was wearing a red jacket and black pants.
