Victim loses pants and wallet in robbery

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police say a Sun Prairie man contacted them on Sunday to report a robbery from the night before.

They say the 29-year-old victim said he was driving on East Washington Avenue Saturday around 11 p.m. when he heard an unusual sound coming from underneath his car.

The man told police when he stopped to investigate the sound, he was attacked from behind. The victim told police a man pushed him and struck him in the head.
Police say the victim believes he was hit by a handgun. However, he said never saw a weapon.

Police say the victim was told by the robber to take his pants off. Police say after the victim complied, reluctantly, the robber and a female took off with his pants and wallet.

The victim has described the male robber to police as black, 20-25 years old, about 6 feet tall with a slender build, and wearing a dark T-shirt. The female was described by the victim to police as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall,with a thin build and long blonde hair.

When asked by police why he waited to call until the following day, the victim told police he was tired and wanted to go to bed.
