Madison police arrest 25-year-old on tentative child pornography charges
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police say they arrested a man on the city’s west side Thursday morning on possible child pornography charges as part of an ongoing investigation.
Police say the 25-year-old was arrested on High Point Oaks Lane, just off of South High Point Road, at about 8 a.m. Thursday.
Members of the Madison Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, Gang and Neighborhood Crime Abatement Team, and Special Weapons and Tactics Unit served a search warrant on the man’s home before he was arrested.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. They did not provide any information about the man’s alleged actions.
The man has been booked into the Dane County Jail and faces two counts of possession of child pornography, according to jail records.
