Madison pedestrian robbed by armed muggers

MADISON, Wis. — A 37-year-old Madison man was mugged at gunpoint while walking in the 2000 block of Fisher Street Wednesday night, according to a release from police.

A car pulled up near the victim and two occupants got out. One had a handgun and pointed it at the victim’s head, and both demanded money, the victim said.

They went through the victim’s pockets, taking his wallet and other belongings before driving off, according to police.

The car is described as a black four-door, possibly a Honda Civic.

The driver is described as a 19-20-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build, light complexion, 2-3-inch dreadlocks and no facial hair. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans, according to the release.

The passenger is described as an 18-19-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build, a buzz haircut and facial stubble. He was wearing a black hooded zip-up jacket and black jeans, according to the release.
