Madison man killed in early-morning Fitchburg crash identified

MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office is identifying the man killed in a crash along Highway MM in Fitchburg earlier this week.

25-year-old Omar Miranda Adame of Madison died after being thrown from his car after hitting a utility pole and rolling over between Irish Lane and Haight Farm Road around 4:45 a.m. Monday.

Adame was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner’s office confirmed Thursday he died of injuries sustained in the crash.

Fitchburg police are continuing to investigate, but said Monday they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
