Madison man attacked inside his home
Police don't believe crime was random

MADISON, Wis. — A 29-year-old man called the Madison Police Department on Wednesday morning to report a battery inside his home.
The victim said a man entered through an unlocked door at his home in the 900 block of High Street at about 8 a.m. and attacked him, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The victim said nothing was taken. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.
Investigators believe this wasn’t a random crime, according to the incident report.
Police said the attacker was described as a white man in his mid 20s, standing 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with curly brown hair, a broad nose and a muscular build.
