Madison Man Arrested On 5th OWI Charge
DeForest police said they arrested a Madison man on a charge of fifth-offense operating while intoxicated.
Police said they stopped Jeremiah J. Stendahl, 32, for speeding at about 2:25 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of East Holum Street in DeForest.
After sobriety tests, Stendahl was suspected being under the influence, police said.
Police said Stendahl faces citations for operating after revocation, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.
Blood alcohol test results are pending.
Stendahl is being held at the Dane County Jail. His court date is set for Dec. 21.
