Madison man arrested for shooting another man in hand, police say

FITCHBURG, Wis. — Fitchburg police said a Madison man has been arrested in connection with a shooting early Monday morning where another man was shot in the hand.
The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Monday in the 5400 block of Caddis Bend in Fitchburg, police said.
According to police, the victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they have recovered the weapon involved in the incident. The suspect, 35-year-old Terrance S. Pearson, was arrested Monday and taken to the Dane County Jail on a tentative charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
Police said the victim and Pearson knew each other and that the shooting was not random.
