Madison man arrested for fifth OWI

Roland H. Wedekind, 78, of Madison, was arrested after a breath test showed his alcohol levels were too high to be able to legally drive, according to police.

A Sauk County deputy stopped Wedekind for a speeding violation and observed signs of impairment, according to police.

Wedekind had four prior OWI convictions.Wedekind was arrested and incarcerated at the Sauk County Jail, according to police.
