Madison company named number one fastest growing company in America

MADISON, Wis. — A Madison-based company has been named the number one fastest growing company in the nation. Inc 5000 calls it the “eBay of freight”. The company uses artificial intelligence and software to help companies make easier and more efficient shipment decisions.

“It wasn’t just an idea to do it. It was a matter of solving one man’s problem and then realizing other people have that problem,” said Brad Hollister, SwanLeap CEO

Hollister said this has been his dream since college.

“I started companies in college,” he said. “I started investing in college. It was a rocky road to get to this point and certainly lots of learning experiences along the way.”

Hollister added his company continues to thrive because he doesn’t have competition and continues to meet a need in the business world.

“They need what we have. They need visibility, they need connectivity, they need artificial intelligence,” he said.

He says he’s proud of the work he’s done but his success didn’t come without some struggles.

“Challenges change every day. It’s coming in to work not knowing what is waiting here for you,” he said.

Hollister said the key to his success came from surrounding himself with positive minds.

“Run as fast as you can away from bad people,” he said.

With no sales team, his company has nearly quadrupled in value without adding any staff over the last year.

“The ultimate goal I see for our company is to continue to change the world,” he said.
