Madison College receives largest donation in school history

Madison College received the largest donation in its history Wednesday from the Goodman Foundation.

The $6 million donation will lay the groundwork for renovations to the Truax campus soccer and softball fields next spring.

Youth teams from the east side will also be able to use the facilities.

“The investment we celebrate today will return dividends that are measured not in dollars, but in the number of individuals who gain from it,” Madison College President Jack Daniels said.

Renovations to the soccer and softball fields will start next spring.
