Madison anti-abortion group plans to expand presence in front of Planned Parenthood

MADISON, Wis. — Vigil for Life of Madison says it wants to expand its volunteer presence to cover every hour that the Madison Planned Parenthood facility on Orin Road on Madison’s east side is open, according to a release.
Under the new direction of its executive director, Jan Hess, the organization plans to build a wider network of volunteers for the organization, the release said
“The ultimate goal [is] to close the abortion facility here in Madison,” Hess said.
Vigil for Life is an anti-abortion group that has had a presence outside Planned Parenthood every business day since January 2011, according to the release.
