Lorene R. Polensky

Lorene R. Polensky, 87, of Richland Center, died on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Pine Valley Community Village. She was born on September 17, 1934, in North Dakota, the daughter of John and Pauline (Dinius) Keller. Lorene graduated from State Teachers College in Dickinson, ND, on June 2, 1951. After graduating she taught all 8 grades in a room schoolhouse for several years in ND. She married Albert Polensky on April 21, 1952. They moved their family to Wisconsin and completed their family of nine children who were the center of her whole life. Lorene was a homemaker and raised her children while working on the farm.

Lorene is survived by her children: Yvonne (Steve) Davis of Richland Center, Aaron (JoAnn) Polensky of Boaz, Diane (Phil) Brown of Richland Center, Dwyane (Cathie Ryan) Polensky of Richland Center, Zachary Polensky of Richland Center, Neal (Bonnie Gutweiler) Polensky of Richland Center, Pamela (Mark) Puckett of Muscoda, Angela (Terry) Turnipseed of Richland Center; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, sister: Donna Huling; brother: Larry Keller; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, son Conrad, daughter-in-law Patricia Polensky, granddaughter Markie Mae Puckett, brother John Keller, and sister Viola Kadrmas.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Fancy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM.
