Lois Ann (Krueger) Tietz

MADISON- Lois Ann (Krueger) Tietz, age 76, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at St. Mary’s Care Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born on July, 26, 1939, in Neshkoro, Wis., the daughter of Albert and Adeline (Klawitter) Krueger. She married Delmar Tietz on Aug. 2, 1958, in Madison.
Lois was raised on the family farm in Kingston. She graduated high school in 1957 and then moved to Madison to pursue a career. Lois worked at Sterling Hall for a few years and was an executive secretary at American Family before retiring. She met and married the love of her life, Delmar, and they spent 54 wonderful years together.
Lois loved to sew some of her kids’ clothing. She enjoyed shopping, browsing magazines, traveling, light reading, and bowling. Her family was very important to her. Lois was also a lifetime member of Eastside Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Lois is survived by her children, Cindy Jazdzewski, Dennis (Phyllis) Tietz, Yvonne (Steven) Monson; grandchildren, Alicia, Kelsey (Jeremiah), Sara, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Joseph and Jayla; brother, Don (Chris) Krueger; many nieces, nephews, and other family members; and special friend, Pat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar; parents; son, Jeffrey; and son-in-law, Jim Jazdzewski.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 with Pastor Bernt Tweit presiding. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Eastside Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2310 Independence Ln., Madison.
