Linda Kenison

Linda Kenison

MADISON-Linda Kenison passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2013, in the home she loved on Monona Bay. Linda was forever young and only a week ago celebrated another of her “39th” birthdays with one of her favorite desserts, lemon meringue pie. Linda was born in Wautoma on Feb. 23, 1918, to Max and Emma (Bohn) Weiland. She grew up in a large family of six sisters and two brothers. Shortly after graduating high school, she moved to Madison where she met and married Bud Kenison. Linda lived a rich life full of family, music, and laughter. She loved to travel and spent many summers in Turkey and visited many European cities. Linda enjoyed everything she did whether it was raising a family, working outside the home, proudly managing her apartments, or dancing and partying with friends. In her younger days, she enjoyed singing and playing with “The Musical Variettes”, for charity. Linda was one of a kind and will be sorely missed.

Linda is survived by her sister, Dorothy Hoffman; brother, Milo Weiland; sons, David and Robert Kenison; and grandchildren, Cynthiana, Allison, Emily, and David; and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “Bud” Kenison and many siblings.
