Leslie L. “Les” Luther

Leslie L. “Les” Luther, 51, of Belmont, died on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at his home.

Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Lima Union Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Pedersen will officiate. Friends may call from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon on Tuesday at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Les was born on December 10, 1960 in Dodgeville, WI, the son of Frank and Lillian (Munns) Luther. Les enjoyed reading the newspaper, going on walks, and he loved animals, especially dogs.

He is survived by two sisters, Diane Pilgrim (special friend, Maynard Geasland) of Belmont; Alice (Larry) Ferrell of Oregon, WI; four brothers, William (Gloria) Woods of Platteville; Clayton (Pam) Woods of Beloit; Grant Woods of Beloit; and Larry Luther of Sierra Vista, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barb Woods and Margaret Kupchanko.
